Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while maintaining high-quality client care. At Hopestone Psychiatric Services, we offer both in-person and telehealth mental health services, which means you will be part of a dynamic team that utilizes modern technology to reach and care for clients effectively. Our dedicated support staff handles essential administrative tasks such as credentialing, intake scheduling, and billing, enabling you to focus primarily on client interactions and treatment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing trustworthy and positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and maintaining personal boundaries.
• Conduct regular client meetings to assess progress toward therapeutic goals, stability, and readiness for discharge when appropriate.
• Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and monitor tailored, person-centered treatment plans that cater to their unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and clinical standards.
• Conduct intake assessments to understand clients’ backgrounds and inform initial treatment plans.
• Engage in individual therapy sessions weekly, employing various therapeutic modalities to address client concerns.
• Participate in individual supervision for professional growth and development.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Demonstrate a commitment to personal and professional growth, actively seeking opportunities for skill enhancement.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with adult clients who are experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and trauma-related issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in mental health or a related field is required.
• Current California licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for various clinical settings.
• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations affected by substance abuse.
• Prior experience in conducting assessments, diagnoses, and facilitating individual and group therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems with basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment.
• Comfortable utilizing telehealth platforms and technologies.
