We are hiring an Insurance Account Representative who wants to grow a sales practice among the people they live near — neighbors, local business owners, and families whose lives we are part of every day. This is local sales with real relationships at the center. Responsibilities Follow a structured sales process from first conversation through policy placement and follow-up Keep sales activity, quotes, and follow-up dates up to date in the agency system Work toward clear weekly activity numbers and monthly production goals Take part in ongoing product training and pre-licensing study Turn conversations into scheduled appointments and carry each one through the sales process You Will Do Well Here If You See this as the start of a career, not a stopgap job Are motivated by earning more when you do more Enjoy introducing yourself and starting new conversations This Probably Is Not Your Role If You Would rather wait for the phone to ring than pick it up Would rather not have weekly production targets Qualifications Prior sales, retail, or customer-facing experience preferred — insurance training and licensing provided Self-starter who stays consistent with outreach and follow-up Committed to getting licensed in insurance as part of the role Open to feedback and focused on improving every week Comfortable picking up the phone and keeping a conversation moving Benefits Base salary plus performance-based commission SIMPLE IRA retirement plan with employer match Health insurance stipend Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days) Paid company holidays Clear career advancement paths Pay range: $50,000-$75,000 per year This range reflects expected total compensation—including base salary, commissions, and bonuses—when performance goals are met. Base salary varies based on experience and licensing. Commissions are uncapped, and high performers regularly exceed this range. This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies.
