About the Opportunity

A growing SaaS technology organization is seeking a Group Product Manager to help lead the strategy and continued evolution of its Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) product portfolio.

\n

This is not a traditional execution-focused Product Management role. The organization is looking for someone who brings deep GRC domain expertise combined with strong customer-facing experience, strategic product thinking, market research, and commercialization experience.

\n

\n

The Group Product Manager will work directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand evolving market needs, identify opportunities for innovation, and translate those insights into product vision and roadmap strategy.

\n

\n

This is a player-coach opportunity that includes leadership of an existing Senior Product Manager, with additional Product Management headcount anticipated as the organization continues to grow. Previous formal people management experience is not required.

\n

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Own product vision, strategy, prioritization, and roadmap direction across GRC products and capabilities.
\n
• Conduct customer discovery, market research, competitive analysis, and Voice of Customer activities.
\n
• Translate customer challenges, market trends, and buyer needs into differentiated product strategies and commercial opportunities.
\n
• Partner closely with Engineering, Architecture, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product leadership throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
\n
• Engage directly with customers and prospects to understand business challenges, workflows, priorities, and emerging requirements.
\n
• Evaluate the GRC competitive landscape and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
\n
• Support commercialization efforts, including positioning new capabilities and connecting product investments to measurable customer and business value.
\n
• Establish product goals, KPIs, and success metrics to evaluate performance and business outcomes.
\n
• Mentor and support Product Managers while helping establish strong Product Management practices.
\n
• Leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance product discovery, research, experimentation, and development workflows.

Required Qualifications

\n

\n
• 8+ years of experience within GRC, governance, risk, compliance, enterprise risk management, or a closely related domain.
\n
• Direct experience working with GRC technology, software platforms, implementations, consulting, Professional Services, or Product Management.
\n
• Experience in Product Management or a product-adjacent capacity such as Product Ownership, Product Strategy, Product Marketing, Consulting, Implementation Leadership, or Professional Services.
\n
• Demonstrated experience developing, owning, or meaningfully influencing product vision and roadmap strategy.
\n
• Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to conduct discovery and translate customer needs into product opportunities.
\n
• Experience with market research, competitive analysis, commercialization, or Voice of Customer initiatives.
\n
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
\n
• Understanding of GRC buyers, workflows, market dynamics, and technology trends.
\n
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

\n
• Experience working for a GRC software or technology provider.
\n
• Experience supporting enterprise GRC customers.
\n
• Commercialization or go-to-market experience.
\n
• Experience mentoring or managing Product Managers or Product Analysts.
\n
• Practical experience incorporating AI tools into Product Management, research, analysis, or other professional workflows.
\n
• Experience operating in a SaaS product environment.
\n
