Join a busy Hospital as their Financial Controller to assist the CFO in managing the revenue growth being generated. The Controller will have oversight of Accounting, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Accounts Payable. Develops and manages financial reporting and accounting including timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements and proper application of health care industry financial practices. Maintains responsibility over development and guidance to the team, accuracy of financial statements, and timely recording of internal audits, controls, and checks across departments. The Financial Controller will report to and collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, required.
• Masters in Accounting or Healthcare, preferred.
• CPA, preferred.
• 2-3+ years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare finance and/or reimbursement required.
• 2-3+ years of previous Business Office experience in Finance, Revenue Cycle, Accounting, required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to interpret complex data, required.
• Recent experience with designing and managing operational budgets required.
• Experience in managing the Annual Audit, Cost Report and 990 preparations, required.
