Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Verification Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Allied Universal is hiring Unarmed Patrol Officers for a healthcare location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:00 AM - 08:30 AMWed12:00 AM - 08:30 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:30 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as needed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership. Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
