Capital Life Orthopedics is actively seeking a full-time Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dedicated rehabilitation team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in guiding patients through their recovery journeys, working to restore their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. You will be integral in applying best practices in orthopedic care, focusing on promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, intervention, and rehabilitation.

Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is designed to cater specifically to orthopedic outpatient care. Our team is composed of experienced professionals including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all dedicated to achieving outstanding patient outcomes. We primarily serve patients who carry private medical insurance, providing a conducive environment for personalized, focused treatment.

Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is a full-time role based on-site at our rehabilitation center. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, creating a structured workweek that encourages work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Able to assess and articulate the specific goals and needs of patients, developing tailored care plans that may include a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, maintaining a focused, patient-centered approach that ensures effective treatment and ongoing progress evaluation.
• Utilize prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care to deliver evidence-based interventions that minimize reliance on medications and prioritize non-surgical alternatives.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs that align with the unique requirements of each patient, promoting overall health.
• Monitor treatment outcomes regularly, maintain clear communication with patients regarding their progress, and document all services provided meticulously.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their therapeutic journey, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages achievement of their health objectives.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in our multidisciplinary team, contributing to an integrated approach to patient care.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance skills and stay updated with the latest trends and methodologies in physical therapy.

Qualifications

• A completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of California, with no board actions or disciplinary measures recorded, is essential.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the design and implementation of effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, including WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred, providing you with the necessary skills to navigate the specific challenges of this environment.
• Experience in developing and executing evidence-based treatment plans that encompass a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position is competitive, with an annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 125,000.
