Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to identify patient needs and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Deliver short-term individual therapy and crisis intervention services, addressing diverse presenting issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and workplace stress.

• Lead specialized therapy groups and workshops focusing on skills development, coping strategies, and overall mental health awareness.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within the health clinic, including primary care providers and support staff, to ensure holistic and well-coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of Core Healing Counseling, you will engage with an array of clients facing various mental health challenges, including adults and adolescents from diverse backgrounds. You will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the unique needs and cultural sensitivities of each patient, working collaboratively to foster resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A valid state license as a mental health professional, such as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Bachelor's degree is required, while a Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.

• Demonstrated expertise in navigating mental health challenges commonly experienced by patients in a community health clinic setting.

• Excellent listening and communication skills to establish trust and rapport with clients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• A solid foundation in evidence-based therapy practices suitable for a dynamic counseling framework.

• Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage caseloads, and prioritize patient needs efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant mental health counseling experience is required, candidates with additional experience in hospital or community mental health settings will be prioritized.
