Inpatient Pharmacist – Sylmar, CA
Great opportunity for an Inpatient Pharmacist to join a large hospital system in Sylmar, CA. They strongly prefer recent PGY1 graduates, but will consider non-PGYI candidates with some hospital experience, including hospital internship experience.
Position Details:
- Long-term contract with potential for contract-to-hire
- 8-hour shifts
- Must be flexible to work 1st and 2nd shifts; occasional 3rd shift may be required
- $60-65/hr
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient pharmacy services in a hospital setting
- Medication order verification and clinical pharmacy support
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform duties as assigned within the inpatient pharmacy
Ideal Candidate:
- Active California Pharmacist License
- PGY1 residency preferred
- OR approximately 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Non-PGYI candidates with hospital intern experience may be considered
- Must be comfortable working a flexible shift schedule
- Must be willing to commit to a long-term contract
