Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg/Oncology to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients in a surgical oncology unit.
• Administer medications and manage patient care using Epic charting system.
• Float between surgical oncology unit and similar units as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control policies.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative milestones and care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current CO or Compact RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care experience, with teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Proficient in Epic charting system.
• Experience in a hospital setting with adaptable staffing ratios.
• Willingness to work weekends and various shifts as needed.
