You'll lead a team of production employees and be accountable for hitting production goals, quality standards, safety requirements, and performance expectations. Lead safety talks, conduct workplace inspections, and make sure PPE and lockout/tagout procedures are followed.Investigate incidents and near misses, find root causes, and put corrective actions in place.Supervise and coordinate production employees and workflow across the shift.Make sure production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.Train, coach, and evaluate team members to build a skilled, engaged workforce.Track productivity, scrap, and downtime, and lead continuous improvement efforts to improve results.Encourage employees to suggest improvements, and take part in Lean, 5S, and kaizen activities.Investigate and resolve production, quality, and personnel issues quickly and fairly.Keep operations in line with company policies, manufacturing procedures, and OSHA regulations.QualificationsHigh school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Proficiency with basic computer and reporting systems.
