Job Overview A law firm seeks a Funds Associate for their Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have a general corporate and securities background with specific experience advising investment funds throughout their lifecycle. Experience with private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds is preferred. Responsibilities Advise investment funds at all stages of their lifecycle. Collaborate with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets unit. Articulate legal strategies and courses of action effectively. Handle multiple projects under pressure. Requirements Three to five years of relevant experience preferred. Active bar license in the state of the office applied to or commitment to obtain one. Excellent academic credentials and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Active bar license. Skills Superior interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional judgment and project management abilities. Proactive, dynamic, and entrepreneurial mindset.
