About the Position

This role requires the ability to float within the organization as needed. The nurse will be responsible for providing care to adult and geriatric patients, managing diverse general medicine issues. Daily patient census averages around 23, with approximately 7 visits per day. The unit is equipped for various procedures, including IV management, chest tubes, and paracentesis. Support services available include physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy, among others. This position will include additional responsibilities in case of patient transfers to different units. Weekend coverage is expected, with 3-4 weekend shifts per month. All candidates must complete required credentialing processes upon contract signing. Reference requirements include two professional references, with one from a formal leadership role.
