• Hours/Week: 36 or 48 hours (guaranteed)
• Employment Type: Travel / Full-Time
• Certifications Required: BLS via AHA
• Experience: 1+ year preferred in medical-surgical nursing
• License: RN license in state of employment or compact

Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $58.96/hr

What You’ll Do:

• Provide direct patient care in a MedSurg unit with a focus on post-surgical, orthopedic, general surgery, and neuro patient populations
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols
• Monitor for side effects and effectiveness of treatments
• Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Assess patient and family educational needs and provide appropriate teaching
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care
• Float as needed across similar units to support staffing

What You Need:

• Required:
  • RN license in the state of employment or valid compact state license
  • BLS certification through AHA
  • Minimum 1 year experience in medical-surgical nursing
• Preferred:
  • Epic EMR experience
  • Prior travel nursing experience
  • Ability to float across units as needed
