Reliability/Maintainability Engineer

Description: 

ENG- Develop, coordinate, and conduct technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments constructs. Perform analysis and reporting related to reliability and maintainability predictions and allocations, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability testing, and FRACAS activities.

#Education & Job Requirements

*4 - 6 years of experience with Reliability and Systems Analysis & Design Skills

*Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

*Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals

#Preferred Skills

*4 - 6 years of experience with Trend Analysis

*4 - 6 years of experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)

*4 - 6 years of experience with Failure Analysis

#Job Duties & Functions

*Develop reliability engineering programs to achieve company, customer, and governmental agency reliability objectives

*Coordinate technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments constructs

*Conduct reliability and maintainability predictions and allocations, FMEA/FMECA, FTA, reliability testing, and FRACAS activities

*Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability

*Compile and analyze performance reports and process control statistics

*Investigate relevant variables potentially affecting products and processes

*Ensure corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards

*Analyze preliminary plans and develop reliability engineering programs

*Develop mathematical models to identify units, batches, or processes posing excessive failure risks

*Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and process reliability

*Determine units and batches requiring environmental testing

*Specify the minimum number of samples required to obtain statistically valid data

*Support product reliability database management using MySQL and PostgreSQL

*Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Tableau, Cognos, PowerBI, and similar tools

*Support application development activities involving requirements, interface design, database architecture, and reports

*Evaluate and support implementation of industry-standard third-party applications such as Windchill Risk & Reliability, Reliasoft, and Relyence
