Job Description
The General Warehouse Worker plays a vital role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations by efficiently handling inventory and materials. This position involves working within a small team to manage stock, operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintain high standards of safety and quality throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Handle inventory with accuracy and care
- Load and unload shipments efficiently
- Pick and pack orders to meet customer requirements
- Replenish stock and organize storage areas
- Move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
- Inspect quality of goods and shipments
- Manage shipping and receiving activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in warehouse operations
- Knowledge of inventory management processes
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment
- Experience with order fulfillment procedures
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a small team
- Good time management skills
