Temporary Sourcing & Recruiting Coordinator

Role Description

The Temporary Sourcing & Recruiting Coordinator (part-time) provides administrative and sourcing support to the Talent Acquisition team to help ensure a positive and efficient recruitment process. This role is responsible for:

• Identifying and engaging potential candidates
• Supporting recruiting operations and campaign efforts
• Coordinating interview logistics
• Maintaining applicant tracking system data

Working closely with recruiters and hiring managers, the coordinator will assist with:

• Candidate outreach
• Resume screening
• Scheduling interviews
• Ensuring timely communication throughout the hiring process

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a temporary, part-time position designed to support recruiting efforts during periods of increased hiring activity, staffing transitions, or special talent acquisition projects.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and other recruiting channels
• Engage in social media and other channels to increase candidate flow through social media campaigns
• Conduct initial resume reviews against established job qualifications
• Assist with candidate outreach and scheduling of phone screens and interviews
• Coordinate interview logistics and communications with candidates and hiring teams
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting data
• Support recruitment reporting and pipeline tracking
• Assist with reference checks, background check coordination, and other pre-employment activities as needed
• Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely and professional communication
• Provide general administrative support to the Talent Acquisition function

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of recruiting coordination, sourcing, HR, or administrative experience
• Experience with working with HRIS systems like UKG or similar ATS platforms
• Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, applicant tracking systems, or other sourcing tools preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and virtual meeting platforms
• Experience supporting nonprofit organizations is a plus

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20–25 hours per week, for a temporary assignment of approximately 3–6 months, with flexibility based on organizational needs.
