Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Based Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with exceptional customer service. You will communicate observations and respond to concerns with professionalism while supporting Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail mall, including common areas, parking areas, exterior entrances, and perimeter locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor activity at the location and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and coordination with mall management, tenants, and responding emergency personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
