Regional Sales Manager, Western US & Canada

Role Description Regional Sales Manager (California – Bay Area or Southern CA) to lead capital equipment sales, services, and market development for Pyxa across academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical sectors. Key Responsibilities Manage the full sales cycle for capital equipment, from prospecting to closing, focusing on academic, biotech, and pharmaceutical customers. Conduct on‑site meetings, demos, and presentations across the Pacific Northwest; travel >50% of the time. Understand customer scientific projects to position Stellaromics solutions effectively and support instrument and reagent sales. Develop and execute territory sales plans using market insights and customer feedback. Collaborate across marketing, R&D, and field teams to gather customer insights and drive product innovation. Explore new technology applications and expand market reach in emerging fields. Represent Stellaromics professionally, ethically, and responsibly to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Qualifications 5+ years in life sciences sales, focused on capital equipment and fee‑for‑service sales. Proven success in territory planning, pipeline management, and closing deals. Technical expertise in genomics, spatial biology, and/or imaging technologies. Experience selling to academic, biotech, and pharma customers, engaging scientists, core facilities, and procurement teams. Proficiency in CRM and AI tools for sales operations and reporting. Strong presentation and communication skills for scientific demos and seminars. Ability to excel in a high‑growth, constantly changing environment. 50%+ travel required within the Northwest territory. Compensation Base salary: $135,000–$165,000, commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience. Comprehensive benefits package aligned with market pay data.
