Our culture in Risk Management and Compliance is all about challenging the status quo and striving to be best-in-class.As a Strategic Analytics Associate, you'll work with the risk team to generate thoughtful analytics and recommendations to the business concerning strategy development, implementation, operational controls, and performance monitoring.Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain periodic analytics to provide management with full insight into emerging trends and the quality of the originated accountsAttain a detailed understanding of key performance metrics and profitability drivers, enabling the delivery of insights encompassing the full account lifecycleAcquire an understanding of the operational processes (e.g. manual underwriting, portfolio management, collections) which will aid in understanding acquisition performance driversConduct complex analysis including data collection, analysis, visualization and presentation of results to partners and management in support of card acquisition strategies and new product/feature initiativesSupport formulation of risk strategy and product roadmap, partnering with and influencing cross-functional teamsMange risk strategies to drive financial performance and risk mitigation improvements while innovating to ensure optimal strategy performance with growth mindsetWork closely with Risk Governance, Legal and Compliance to ensure policies comply with laws and regulationsConduct ad hoc analytics and contribute to various projects representing Risk ManagementRequired qualifications, capabilities, and/or skillsBachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from an accredited college/university required; Master’s degree preferredMinimum 3 years of Risk Management or other quantitative experienceEducational or professional background in statistics, econometrics, finance, or other quantitative fieldHighly skilled at SQL coding, Excel, PowerPoint, and TableauAbility to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management informationAbility to logically structure analyses using strong analytical, interpretive, and problem solving skillsExperience delivering recommendations to managementExcellent written and oral communication skillsChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America’s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
