Strategic Project Lead for AI Data Operations [Remote]

Lead end-to-end delivery for top AI Labs engagements by owning data pipelines, managing teams of domain experts, and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, scalability, and quality for frontier AI model training. You will design and execute workflows that structure and optimize large scale human data pipelines, provide executive updates on program performance, and act as the primary point of contact for major customers. This role reports directly to the CEO and the Head of Human Data.

• Own projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring top AI Lab clients are highly satisfied.
• Design, operate, and improve large scale data pipelines to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage a team of human data managers and team leads who review and coordinate the work of domain experts.
• Communicate directly with major AI Lab customers on large, complex projects.
• Partner with human data engineers to define, monitor, and manage KPIs for data quality and operational performance.
• Provide executive level insights, summaries, and updates on project status, data performance, and operational impact.
• Lead cross functional initiatives that support AI model development and performance.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in data operations, human data programs, data engineering, or computer science.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large scale data projects, or optimizing workflows.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for building systems from the ground up and rapidly executing solutions.
• Willingness to work long hours frequently, including weekends, as required by project needs.

• Listed core team compensation: $300, 000 to $500, 000 per year.
• Company notice: national pay range for this full time position is base salary of $120, 000 to $160, 000 USD.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
• Employees may also receive performance based bonuses, subject to role and company policies.
