Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in New Albany, IN 47150. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of industrial equipment. If you have a passion for troubleshooting and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to implement improvements and upgrades.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist in training new staff on maintenance procedures and safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an industrial maintenance technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
