Salary: $37.00 per hour

Shift: Onsite, 8am-5pm

Duration: 3-6 months

Whats A Typical Day As Payroll Specialist? Youll Be:

• Serving as a key point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and issue resolution
• Processing complex, multi-country payrolls with accuracy and timeliness
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll regulations
• Managing off-cycle payments, adjustments, and final pay calculations
• Preparing and submitting required filings and reports (W-2, T4, etc.)
• Validating and correcting payroll data prior to processing
• Escalating and resolving payroll discrepancies
• Recommending process improvements and automation opportunities
• Interpreting payroll policies across various jurisdictions
• Maintaining and auditing employee payroll records, including tax withholdings, benefits, and direct deposits
• Conducting regular audits to ensure data accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborating on payroll system upgrades, integrations, and workflow standardization across the Americas

This Job Might Be An Outstanding Fit If You:

• Hold a bachelors degree in accounting or business, or have a minimum of 7 years of related payroll experience (must have)
• Possess strong knowledge of payroll regulations across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM (must have)
• Have 5+ years of experience processing complex payroll in a multi-state environment (must have)
• Are proficient with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, or Dayforce (preferred)
• Have Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills (preferred) for LATAM support
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
• Communicate effectively with employees and cross-functional teams
• Thrive in a fast-paced, multi-country operational environment
• Have proven problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues
