Staff Accountant

PeopleShare is partnering with a leading Supply Chain & Manufacturing Technology company in the Carnegie area to hire a Temp - Staff Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to join a growing organization with a collaborative culture and long-term potential.
Pay: $34-$36/hrMonday-Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Hybrid Schedule: 3 Days Onsite, 2 Days Remote (Princeton, NJ)
Contract Assignment through March 2027
Potential opportunity for permanent hire based on performance Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting standards
- Collaborate with multiple departments and shared service teams
- Assist with various accounting projects and reporting initiatives
- Work independently after training while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
- 3+ years of Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant experience
- Strong experience with:
- Month-end close
- General ledger accounting
- Financial reporting and analysis
- Account reconciliations and variance analysis
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Eager to learn and grow within an organization
