Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000+ yearly Responsibilities: What you'll do Manage discovery from start to finish: drafting, propounding, tracking, and organizing responses Prepare and file court documents, and keep every filing deadline on the calendar Draft and assemble Rule 401 financial statements (CJD 301/301S) and supporting exhibits Serve as a steady point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and prepared Keep matters moving - anticipating next steps before the attorney has to ask What we're looking for Hands-on family law experience in the Massachusetts Probate & Family Court Command of court procedure, filing requirements, and financial statements Sharp attention to detail and genuine ownership of deadlines Clear, professional communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel The judgment to run a caseload independently Qualifications: What You'll Bring 5-8 years of hands-on family law paralegal experience in a Massachusetts firm Demonstrated proficiency with Clio Manage (required), you can set up matters, run reports, and keep a docket clean without supervision Demonstrated experience e- filing in MA Probate & Family Court (required) Working command of the MA Domestic Relations Procedure, Supplemental Probate & Family Court Rules, and the Child Support Guidelines Strong drafting skills: You can produce a clean motion or discovery response without a template handed to you Knowledge and comfort working with AI (Claude, Cowork, ChatGPT, Notebook LM, and Gemini) Excellent written and verbal communication; warm and professional with clients under stress Highly organized, calendar-driven, and comfortable juggling 40+ active matters Microsoft Word, Outlook, OneDrive/SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat fluency Notary commission a plus (or willingness to obtain) Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience About Company Established, growing firm with a steady, high-quality caseload - no chaos, no churn Attorneys who actually trust paralegals to own their work and contribute to strategy Modern tech stack - Clio, Decision Vault, Fathom, Microsoft 365, AI-assisted drafting tools - we invest in tools that make your day easier Collaborative team culture across our Melrose and Newburyport offices Real career growth - we promote from within and support continuing education Martino Law Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
