Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef located in Trenton, NJ.

Hackensack Meridian Health Mountainside Medical Center located in Montclair NJ is seeking an Executive Chef. In this role, the Executive Chef will manage culinary operations and production with a strong focus on food quality, employee engagement, patient satisfaction, and inventory control. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who fosters an inclusive culture and drives business success.

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for catering, purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting;
• Ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
• Have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
• Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standard compliance; and/or
• Have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
