Regional Sales Manager

Overview The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional service to clients. This role requires a self‑motivated individual with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced and evolving industry. Key Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers through regular communication, onsite visits, and responsive service. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products, solutions, or services. Address concerns or issues with professionalism, tact, and timely follow‑through. Sales & Business Development Identify new business opportunities within assigned territories or market segments. Present product features, benefits, and value propositions clearly and effectively. Prepare quotes, proposals, and other sales documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Meet or exceed assigned sales goals and performance metrics. Territory Management Plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly activities to maximize efficiency and results. Maintain an organized schedule of customer visits, follow‑ups, and prospecting activities. Keep detailed records of customer interactions, opportunities, and progress. Internal Collaboration Work closely, collaboratively and respectfully with internal teams—including customer service, operations, engineering, or procurement—to ensure customer needs are met. Communicate customer requirements, orders, and project updates accurately and promptly. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving processes and customer satisfaction. Professional Development Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, competitive offerings, and new technologies. Participate in ongoing training to build product, market, and sales skill proficiency. Embrace an environment of continuous learning and adaptability. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work independently. Professional communication skills, with the ability to respond to different situations and customer needs with maturity, tact, and good judgment. Effective time management and multi‑tasking skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a dynamic workload. Proficiency in basic math, grammar, and writing, ensuring clear communication and accurate record‑keeping. Willingness to learn new tools, processes, and industry information, adapting quickly to change. Reliable problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues in real time. Basic computer proficiency, including email, CRM systems, and common office software. Preferred Qualifications 5 – 7 years successful experience in outside sales calling on customers in the Cannabis industry, preferably in New York. Familiarity with the company’s products or related industry. Experience working in a fast‑paced or high‑growth environment. Work Environment & Expectations Regular travel within the assigned territory is required. Must be comfortable meeting with customers in person, attending industry events, and representing the company professionally.
