Business Development Representative (SaaS | East coast US ) | $140K OTE

Ingenio is partnering with a growing Irish SaaS company as they expand their presence in the US market. They're looking for an experienced Business Development Representative who can take real ownership of new business development across the US.

This role goes beyond traditional BDR prospecting. We're looking for someone who is comfortable owning opportunities through the sales cycle — from outbound prospecting and discovery through to product demos, technical conversations and, where appropriate, closing the deal.

What You'll Do:

• Prospect and engage target accounts across the US through phone, email, LinkedIn and other outbound channels.
• Build and execute strategic outbound campaigns.
• Research target organisations and identify key decision-makers.
• Run effective discovery calls to understand client challenges, requirements and buying drivers.
• Deliver product demos to prospective clients, confidently demonstrating the platform and its value.
• Handle technical and product-related conversations with prospects and translate technical capabilities into clear business value.
• Participate across the full 360° sales cycle, from initial prospecting through discovery, demo, opportunity progression and closing.
• Generate and manage high-quality qualified pipeline.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on outbound and account-based campaigns.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and consistently achieve activity, pipeline and revenue targets.

To be considered, you must have:

• 3+ years' BDR/SDR or new-business sales experience, ideally within SaaS or software.
• Proven experience running client-facing SaaS/software product demos — this is essential.
• Hands-on experience across a 360° sales cycle, rather than solely booking meetings and handing opportunities to an AE.
• A strong level of technical aptitude and the ability to understand, explain and demonstrate a software platform confidently.
• A proven track record of outbound prospecting and personally generating qualified pipeline.
• A strong hunter mentality with confidence in cold outreach and opening new opportunities.
• Excellent discovery, communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and prospecting campaigns simultaneously.
