Vice President, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

Stoke Therapeutics seeks a Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement to establish and lead enterprise procurement operations as the biotechnology company scales toward commercialization. Reporting to the CFO, this executive will build governance frameworks, manage supplier relationships, and ensure financial controls and operational readiness during rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and establish procurement operating model, governance structure, policies, and performance metrics
• Advise executive team on sourcing strategy, supplier risk, and vendor capabilities alignment with business goals
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes and supplier selection in partnership with business, legal, finance, and quality stakeholders
• Oversee supplier relationship management program including performance scorecards and corrective actions
• Drive spend visibility, analytics, and cost optimization opportunities across the enterprise

Requirements

• Executive-level experience building or leading procurement functions at growing companies
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and complex contract negotiation
• Strong financial acumen and experience with spend analytics and cost optimization
• Knowledge of procurement governance, controls, and compliance frameworks
• Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional leadership and influence strategy
