You’ve mapped a 1–1.5 hour radius, queued up 50+ outbound calls, and scheduled on-site meetings with decision-makers in manufacturing, construction, and the skilled trades. By midday, you’ve qualified two new opportunities, expanded an existing account into a new department, and synced with recruiting to align delivery on a client’s urgent order. Before you wrap, you update your pipeline, forecast with precision, and prep for tomorrow’s in-person visits. That’s a day in the life of a Business Development Executive at Holland Sharpe.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $65,000
• Uncapped commission (earn from day one)
• Weekly pay (base + commission)
• Typical earnings: $85,000 – $150,000+
• Top performers exceed $150K+ annually
• Quarterly & annual performance bonuses
• Annual incentive trip

Your Impact

• Drive 50+ outbound calls daily to open new doors
• Prospect, qualify, and close new client accounts
• Own the Nashville territory (1–1.5 hour radius)
• Lead in-person meetings with buying influencers and decision-makers
• Grow existing accounts and penetrate new departments
• Run your pipeline, forecasting, and activity metrics with discipline
• Partner closely with recruiting to fulfill client needs

What You Bring

• 2+ years of B2B outside sales experience
• A track record of prospecting and closing new business
• Experience managing a business portfolio of $1 million+
• Proven full sales cycle and territory management
• Background in staffing, industrial, construction, or manufacturing is a plus
• Comfort operating in a high-activity, KPI-driven environment
• Exceptional follow-up, organization, and communication
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
