Count Team Member - Cage Operations

Job Description: Job Summary: Under the direction of the Count Team Manager, the individual is primarily responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Tables Games, Slot Machines and Poker for reporting purposes. The individual provides documentation of counts fulfilling all Gaming and Company regulatory requirements. Essential Job Functions: Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for proper closing, locking and shutting of all machines dropped that day. Requires constant bending, twisting and lifting. Operate electrically powered tow cart used to transport full validator cash can carts to and from the Count room. Unlock and open slot machine doors and bill validator doors to access cans to be collected. Perform cleaning duties such as, but not limited to, sweeping, using the vacuum and using the sonic cleaner to wash cash cans. Maintain confidential information. Assist with all Count Room Department activities as assigned. Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication. Notify managers and/or the Ethics Hotline promptly and discreetly of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations. Promote positive public/team member relations at all times. Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. Pass (non-gaming) Suspicious Activity reporting and Cyber Security testing to remain in Compliance. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED as well as money-handling skills or a combination of education and/or experience. Additional Requirements: Possess excellent communication skills (verbal, written and proofreading) and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Communicate effectively with guests in English. Excellent organization, multi-tasking skills and very detail oriented. Meet critical time deadlines. Conduct mathematical transactions accurately and efficiently. Familiar with computer systems and a 10 key adding machine. Work in a structured, organized, and highly regulated environment. Lift up to 50 lbs., stand and/or walk for an eight (8) hour shift and bend and kneel. Perform duties requiring standing, walking, hand use, reaching, talking, hearing, tasting, or smelling; frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment characteristics described here are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this job. Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, crowded and noisy. May be exposed to second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to the general public. Communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities. Closing: The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
