We are currently hiring for both 1st Shift and 2nd Shift Welders . If you have experience with Flux Core MIG Welding, Structural Steel Welding, Blueprint Reading, and Fabrication , we want to hear from you.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: Up to $33/hour

1st Shift:

• Monday-Thursday

• 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM

2nd Shift:

• Monday-Thursday

• 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Enjoy a 4-day work week with 3-day weekends every week.

What You'll Do

• Perform Flux Core MIG welding on structural steel bridge components up to 1/2" thick

• Fabricate and weld steel bridge assemblies from blueprints and specifications

• Complete layout and fitting work using detailed drawings

• Operate overhead cranes and Jib cranes safely

• Use fabrication equipment including:

• Band saws

• Drill presses

• Stud welders

• Grinders

• Weld in multiple positions as required

• Move throughout the fabrication shop to complete projects

• Contribute to high-quality bridge construction projects

Required Skills

• Structural welding experience

• Flux Core MIG welding experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Strong fabrication and layout skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

• Ability to kneel, crawl, bend, and work in various welding positions

Qualifications

• Proven experience welding structural steel

• Experience passing welding certifications or weld tests

• Ability to pass:

• 3F Weld Test

• 4F Weld Test

• 3G Weld Test within the first month

• Desire to learn and grow within the organization

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
