Location: Mentor, OH

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $36.00/hour (based on experience)

Shift Differentials

• 2nd Shift: +$2.00/hour
• 3rd Shift: +$1.50/hour

Available Schedules

3rd Shift

• Monday - Friday, 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM

2nd Shift

• Tuesday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Saturday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

2nd Shift

• Sunday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Monday - Thursday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM

Note: Weekend shift schedules are subject to change and may be adjusted to weekday coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Technical or Trade School certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably within food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Experience working with:
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
  • Sensors
  • Pumps
  • Conveyors
  • Robotic systems
• Working knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
• Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Perform equipment inspections to identify wear, leaks, and potential failures before they impact production.
• Support equipment changeovers, adjustments, and calibrations to meet production requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation within the CMMS system.
• Partner with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Assist with the installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Follow all safety regulations, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company maintenance policies.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase operational efficiency.
