Job Summary

We are hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing facility in Mentor, OH. This role is ideal for a hands-on maintenance professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, including PLCs, VFDs, sensors, pumps, conveyors, and automated equipment.

This is a long-term opportunity with a stable and expanding operation that values teamwork, safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. The company provides the tools and PPE needed for the role and offers a clear path for advancement into Senior Technician or Supervisor positions. Candidates who enjoy solving equipment problems, supporting production uptime, and working with a collaborative maintenance and operations team will be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on manufacturing equipment.
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment adjustments to reduce downtime and improve reliability.
- Support equipment changeovers, calibrations, installations, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders using CMMS systems.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams on root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout standards and required documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $27.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- 2 openings available.
- Shift option 1: Tuesday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Shift option 2: Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Monday through Thursday, 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Weekend shifts are required and may be adjusted to weekdays.
- Candidates must be flexible for schedule changes and weekend coverage.
- Company provides tools and PPE needed for the role.
