Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Monitor and document client progress consistently, adjusting treatment strategies based on their evolving needs and responses.
\n
• Educate clients and families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care practices, fostering empowerment and understanding.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines to ensure client confidentiality.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions, contributing to an ongoing culture of professional development.

• Advocate for clients and mental health awareness, actively working to reduce stigma associated with mental health challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
