Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will:

• Conduct individual and couple therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address relationship dynamics and family issues.

• Create customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients’ needs and circumstances.

• Facilitate therapeutic interventions for various challenges, including communication difficulties, grief and loss, adjustment issues related to separation and divorce, and conflicts among family members.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to ensure a holistic approach to client care and enhance professional development.

• Utilize telehealth platforms to conduct remote therapy sessions, adapting to each client's unique requirements for accessibility and comfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Myers Counseling Center, you will mainly work with a diverse array of individuals, including couples seeking to improve their relationship, families facing transitional challenges (such as blended families and step-parenting), and clients dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Our patient population ranges from young children to adolescents, and adults, allowing for a multifaceted approach to therapy that encourages growth and healing across different life stages.

Qualifications\n

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
