Regional Sales Manager

Description QOL Medical is a privately owned, patient-centric company founded in 2003 to focus on the acquisition and commercialization of orphan products in underserved markets, particularly in the field of gastroenterology. QOL Medical ensures an expanded clinical awareness and patient access for improved quality of life in the treatment of rare and orphan diseases. The company currently markets three FDA-approved products: Sucraid® (sacrosidase) Oral Solution, Ethamolin® (Ethanolamine Oleate) Injection, 5% and Gimoti® (metoclopramide) Nasal Spray. The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Gimoti® sales team will be responsible for the overall performance of their region by providing leadership to their team of Sales Specialists that creates a motivational environment, removes barriers, professionally develops the team, and sets compliant expectations of success. Primary Responsibilities: The Regional Sales Manager must understand and utilize a Servant/Coaching style of leadership. Take ownership of the region’s results. Create and coach to a set of expectations of success. Coaches and develops Sales Specialists to maximize performance, accelerate growth, and achieve tactical business objectives. Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, high performance, and a commitment to finding solutions across the team. Work one-on-one with sales specialists providing tactical leadership on business planning, product knowledge, call planning, territory management, data analysis, problem solving, selling skills, and resource utilization. Must create a sense of teamwork and open communication within the team and colleagues. Additionally, the RSM will work closely with the Area Director in all aspects of mission accomplishment. Required Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrated and documented sales and leadership success Bachelor's degree required 2+ years leading highly successful pharmaceutical/biotech/life science sales teams 5+ years of overall pharmaceutical experience Documented history of team development including hiring and performance management High level of integrity Travel requirements 75% with overnights required, may depend on the region Must have a strong work ethic, grit, and be highly adaptable Strong problem-solving skills is a must Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing QOL Medical is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable equal employment opportunity legislation in each jurisdiction in which it operates. #J-18808-Ljbffr
