Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Missouri (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Solid understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and collaborative, family-centered approaches
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptability, creativity, and a passion for working with young children

Responsibilities:

• Assess the motor skills and functional abilities of early childhood students
• Develop and implement age-appropriate physical therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other interdisciplinary staff to support student goals
• Document progress and update treatment plans in alignment with educational requirements
• Attend IEP meetings, providing insight and recommendations to support each child’s development
• Promote inclusion and advocate for students’ physical access and participation in all school activities
