Quick Facts Location: 1530 Lone Oak Road, Paducah, KY 42003 Start Date: 10/01/2026 Duration: Ongoing coverage Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (potential for call shifts) Hours/Week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum Tenens License/Certifications: KY Medical License, Board Certified in Hematology and Oncology required Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Hematology/Oncology practice Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19,500 (paid weekly via direct deposit) Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay schedule Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with state, federal, and local laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team to ensure your success What You’ll Do Provide expert Hematology and Oncology care to adult patients in a busy clinic setting Manage a patient census averaging 22 patients per day, with 2-3 new consults daily Collaborate with internal teams to deliver coordinated care Participate in follow-up visits, treatment planning, and patient education Document patient encounters accurately using EPIC EMR Support hospital consultations and outpatient follow-up as needed Contribute to the ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives What You Need Required: Kentucky medical license and board certification in Hematology and Oncology Minimum of 2 years practice experience in Hematology/Oncology Proficiency with EPIC EMR system Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Prior experience in outpatient oncology and hospital-based consults Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment About the Assignment This position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Paducah, KY, offering 100% adult oncology and hematology care.
