Start Date: 08/24/2026

End Date: 12/14/2026

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)

Hours/Week: 36 hours

Employment Type: Per diem / Contract

Licenses/Certifications: BLS, ACLS (required)

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience

Patient Demographics: Adults, Geriatrics

Patient Diagnoses: Primarily care for newly diagnosed acute leukemia patients

Shift Pattern: Variable – may include days, nights, or both depending on department needs

What You'll Do

• Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric leukemia patients
• Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry rhythms
• Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
• Manage central lines, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
• Utilize infection prevention and patient fall prevention protocols
• Collaborate with rapid response teams to ensure patient safety
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control standards

What You Need

Required:

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent nursing experience
• Proficiency in MS/Tele, telemetry monitoring, rhythm interpretation, IV therapy, and blood product administration

Preferred:

• ONS Chemo Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
