Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy services focused on outpatient care, tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health and relational dynamics, formulating personalized treatment plans and establishing attainable goals.

• Apply family systems theory and implement systemic interventions to effectively address complex relationship dynamics, enhance communication, and mitigate family stressors.

• Render immediate support and crisis intervention when necessary, ensuring both client safety and the well-being of family members.

• Maintain accurate, confidential client records and treatment documentation, adhering strictly to legal and ethical guidelines.

• Deliver educational resources to clients, focusing on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution skills, and coping strategies that promote relational and emotional health.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to create a comprehensive care network for our clients.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with the latest research, practices, and trends in marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist will primarily focus on adults and child/adolescent populations, supporting clients through an array of relational challenges. Whether addressing marital discord, parenting issues, or family transitions, you will play a key role in helping clients learn strategies to improve their interactions and emotional health.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Maryland.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience, demonstrating a depth of understanding in the field.

• Proven experience in providing outpatient therapy services is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our organization provides a sign-on bonus to newly hired licensed therapists and offers flexibility to accommodate work-life balance.
