Senior Domain Operations Lead

As a critical member of the Domains product team, the full-time Senior Registrar Operations Lead will ensure operational excellence by managing complex domain-related customer issues, collaborating across departments, and driving compliance and security initiatives, with the flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid capacity at the NYC headquarters. Key responsibilities Act as the senior escalation owner for complex domain-related customer issues, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with Customer Support, Security, and Engineering Serve as the internal expert on UDRP cases and compliance matters, partnering with Legal and external registries to manage disputes Streamline registrar operational workflows and oversee key operational workstreams, identifying gaps and driving automation improvements Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in the domain industry, registrar operations, or compliance-focused roles Deep expertise in domain lifecycle management across gTLDs and ccTLDs, including registry interactions Strong working knowledge of ICANN policies, UDRP processes, and domain abuse management Hands-on experience with EPP, REST APIs, DNS, and registry platforms Proven ability to manage complex operational workflows and collaborate with Engineering to reduce manual operations
