Senior Accounting Manager

We're growing our finance organization and looking for a Senior Accounting Manager to take ownership of financial reporting and help shape the accounting function during an exciting period of strategic growth. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives on accuracy, process improvement, and partnering with leadership on high‑visibility financial initiatives. What You’ll Do Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP Lead technical accounting research and ensure proper treatment of complex transactions Partner with FP&A and executive leadership on financial analysis supporting strategic initiatives, including potential M&A activity Manage external audit relationships and coordinate audit deliverables Develop and refine internal controls and accounting policies to support scalability Analyze financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the business Mentor and develop a small team of accounting professionals Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, systems, and controls What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on financial reporting Proven experience managing or reviewing complex GAAP-based financial statements Prior exposure to M&A due diligence, purchase accounting, or corporate strategy projects a plus Strong leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team Advanced Excel skills and experience with modern ERP/accounting systems Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting to senior leadership Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment based in Hilliard, OH #J-18808-Ljbffr
