Pediatric SLP in Newark, NJ

Ideal candidates possess experience in school settings and are comfortable providing tailored services for students from diverse backgrounds. You'll work alongside educators, families, and other specialists to foster communication growth and academic success for learners of various needs.
Qualifications:
- Hold an active NJ SLP license
- Possess a current NJ Department of Education certification
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligible Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Background in school-based and/or pediatric speech-language services
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students individually and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely session documentation
- Consult effectively with teachers, families, and support staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Advocate for the communication needs of students
