This role manages financial workflows, supports month- end close activities, and drives process improvements while collaborating with key stakeholders. This is a hybrid position based out of our downtown Manhattan headquarters. The salary range for this position is location is $99,500 - $105,000 with quarterly incentive opportunities. Essential Functions Direct accounts payable operations including vendor management, invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations Support month-end close through variance analyses, journal entries, and account reconcilations Ensure compliance through regular audits of internal controls and regulatory requirements Lead and develop AP team members to enhance operational efficiency Partner with Finance and IT departments on systems implementation and optimization Facilitate internal and external audits by providing required documentation. Attend on-site meetings and training sessions Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with 5+ years of AP experience, including 2+ years in management, or an equivalent mix of education and experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, reconciliation, and problem-solving Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, formulas) Experience with AP automation tools and systems Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle) About Us The American Arbitration Association (AAA), recognized among The NonProfit Times' 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For, offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where excellence meets opportunity.
