Root For Change
Root For Change is a youth-led organization(awaiting an official 501(c)(c) status) that aims to address environmental issues; We hope to engage individuals in fun activities to help combat the environmental crisis, and inform the general public about the health of their environment. We are more than pleased to hear that you are interested in joining us on this mission.Please keep in mind the fact that all the roles are voluntary!

General requirements ──★ ˙ ̟ !!
- previous experience either in leadership OR involvement in a magazine/newsletter organization
- previous experience in design
- strong communication skills
- attend monthly meetings with the founders and board members

How this works ──★ ˙ ̟ !!
Team management —-----------------------------------------------------------------------
- the researchers will provide statistics and a formal report on a given topic related to climate change . then the newsletter writers will have to translate these findings into organized and fun articles (250 maximum words!).
- you are in charge of setting deadlines and approving the work of the newsletter writers. and ensuring the tone is consistent ( shouldn’t be monotone unless it involves topics such as politics, religion, etc.)
- realistically deadlines usually extends from the 10th to the 20th day of the month
- organize the articles based on topic . and include a section at the end of the newsletter about upcoming events/announcements. we will discuss this in our meeting and you can also reach out to the founder
- you are in charge of the visuals as well so make sure it’s consistent and appealing

- discuss with either the founder or head of volunteer management to see if there are new general volunteers or subscribers
- send a newsletter(via a website, not finalized yet) on a monthly basis.
