Social Content Creator: Video & 3D for Minecraft

Overview We\'re hiring for two full-time contract roles supporting Minecraft\'s global marketing and social media efforts. These roles are for experienced social media content creators who understand how content performs on social platforms and can contribute to both owned and paid media campaigns. Important: These roles are for professionals with strong experience creating content specifically for social platforms. If your background is primarily in traditional video production, design, animation, game art, or creative development without significant social-first content experience, these roles may not be the right fit. Role 1: Content Creator – Video Editing & Game Capture Transform gameplay, stories, and community moments into compelling social content. This is a hands-on role creating content for Minecraft\'s global social and marketing channels across owned, earned, and paid media. You\'ll capture gameplay, edit video, and develop content ranging from fast-moving social posts to larger campaign assets. Has professional experience creating content for social media platforms. Understands what performs on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms. Knows how to capture attention quickly and drive engagement. Can edit gameplay and storytelling content with strong pacing, timing, and platform-specific instincts. Thinks like a creator first and an editor second. Follows trends, internet culture, and audience behavior closely. Is excited to experiment with new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled production processes. Role 2: Content Creator – Concept & 3D Artist Turn ideas into engaging creative content for Minecraft\'s global social and marketing channels, including artwork, concepts, mockups, key visuals, and campaign creative. Has professional experience creating visual content intended for social media audiences. Understands how creative needs to adapt across platforms and audiences. Can transform strategic ideas into compelling visual concepts quickly. Creates high-quality 3D artwork, campaign concepts, social content, and marketing visuals. Thinks like both an artist and a content creator. Understands content trends, visual storytelling, and audience engagement. Is comfortable moving from rapid concepting to polished execution. Is excited to explore new tools, workflows, and AI-enabled creative processes.
