We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Office Specialist to join our non-insurance contracted dental team. Our current front office specialist will be retiring, and we are looking forward to finding our next team member to complement our practice. Our office is known for providing exceptional patient care in a comfortable, home-like environment where kindness, empathy, and genuine connection are at the heart of what we do. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, billing, and patient communication.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working the front office solo (preferentially using Eaglesoft), communicates with warmth and professionalism, and thrives in a collaborative, supportive atmosphere. Must have proficiency in working with insurance verification, claims, and submission. We are a tight-knit office that thoroughly enjoys one another. Compensation:

$26 - $32 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive first impression

• Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow

• Efficiently using dental practice management software, ideally Eaglesoft

• Answering phones and assisting patients with care and professionalism

• Verifying insurance, submitting claims, and discussing financial arrangements

• Keeping hygiene recall and doctor's schedule full

• Putting together Day Sheets, balancing collections, and doing bank deposits

• Supporting a smooth and efficient front office experience

Qualifications:

• Previous dental front office experience needed, with familiarity with dental terminology and dental insurance proficiency

• Strong computer skills with proficiency in dental practice management software, specifically Eaglesoft

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

• Positive attitude with a compassionate approach to patient care

• Experience with dental insurance

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced yet supportive environment
