Commercial Loan Officer

As a Commercial Loan Officer, you’ll serve as both a trusted advisor and a decision-maker. This role requires strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to balance financial insight with a people‑first approach. Key Responsibilities Meet with customers and business prospects to provide financial guidance and recommendations Networks with the community to provide education on small business loan and account products to meet their needs. Obtain referrals. Participate in community activities to enhance personal and bank recognition Work with the credit analyst to underwrite loan requests and present to loan committee for approvals Manage a loan portfolio to include: Insure that all documentation is saved in the credit file Maintain current financial information in the credit file Perform annual credit reviews Meet with customers to discuss their financial needs and provide solutions Collect delinquent loan payments, tax returns and financial statements Other duties as assigned This Job Is Ideal For Someone Who Is People-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Autonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little direction Organized—the ability to manage, prioritize, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
