Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your clinical training to perform independent psychosocial assessments, accurately diagnosing the mental health conditions of your patients.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients, focusing on their individual needs, strengths, and goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, behavioral activation, and problem-solving treatment to achieve successful outcomes.

• Coordinate care with a wide range of healthcare facilities, including primary care providers and psychologists at Walmart Health & Wellness, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Systematically monitor patient progress through scheduled virtual and in-person sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Support medication management processes, helping patients adhere to prescribed psychotropic medications while observing and responding to any side effects or changes in the effectiveness of treatments.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse population of school-aged children and adolescents, providing mental health support to students facing various challenges. Your role will involve addressing issues that affect academic performance, social interactions, and emotional development, working closely with both students and their families to foster a supportive environment for growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.

• Current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist, demonstrating your ability to provide effective mental health services.
