Work Environment\n

The work setting is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while you engage with clients in our community health clinic. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, with the expectation of occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend coverage to ensure comprehensive mental health support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for individuals in our correctional facility, identifying personal histories and specific mental health needs.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that align with the inmate’s unique goals and challenges, facilitating their emotional well-being and successful reintegration into society.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed strategies.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, encouraging personal development and teaching effective coping mechanisms.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists and psychiatric nurses, to ensure that each client receives holistic care.

• Provide crisis intervention support and de-escalation techniques in urgent situations, ensuring immediate mental health needs are met.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment processes, and local resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain meticulous records in accordance with ethical and legal standards, documenting assessments, treatment outcomes, and progress notes.

• Engage in regular team meetings and training sessions to enhance interdisciplinary collaboration and ongoing professional development.

• Stay informed on current legislation and ethical standards affecting the mental health field, particularly within correctional settings.

In this role, you will work directly with a diverse population of incarcerated individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges. This includes severe mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and trauma-affected individuals. Your work will help facilitate a pathway for these clients to achieve recovery, allowing for a smoother transition to community healthcare services upon release.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
